Seminar: MOV(i)E IT FORWARD! Dissemination, sustainability, exploitation in KA2 projects results

Day 1: introduction round

Ensuring that the target group benefits from an educational project and that project results

have a long-term impact are without a doubt key concerns of those taking part in Erasmus+ programs. Therefore, dissemination of information and project results does not start only after the project ends – this was the main message of the three-day Erasmus+ seminar entitled “MOV(i)E IT FORWARD! Dissemination, sustainability, exploitation in KA2 projects results”, held in Zakopane (Poland) between 8-11 May 2019, organised by the Polish Erasmus+ National Agency. Krisztina Tóth on behalf of the European Foundation for Education attended to seminar to learn more about these issues and discuss about the experiences and challenges with other Erasmus+ beneficiaries.

Participants represented a wide range of institutions, from teachers and professors of high

schools and universities to NGO-workers as well as a wide range of countries from Macedonia to Iceland. The main points on the agenda were the “Good Practice Fair”, where everyone could showcase best practices of the dissemination of their project, the visual thinking workshop and the movie making workshop.

During the video making workshop, participants learned practical techniques on how to record

short films showcasing their work, which tools to use for editing and how to record films that both grab the viewers’ attention and informs them about the project. Workshop leaders emphasized that “viewers are not interested in your project but its subject matter.”

After three days of exchange, participants formulated recommendations for better dissemination and exploitation of results in Erasmus+ projects.
